- The Jikji Day event started with the ‘Jikji Festival’ in 2003 and continued until the 8th in 2014.
- From the 9th in 2016, the name was changed to ‘Jikji Korea’ and the event was operated until the 10th in 2018.
- The 2020 Jikji Korea event was not held due to the spread of COVID-19.
- Currently, the name of the event has been changed to ‘Jikji Festival’ to promote and spread the value of Jikji.
